Mitt’s VP; a case for Condoleezza Rice
By James G. McMorris
If I were Mitt Romney, I would be on my knees begging Condoleezza Rice to be my VP. There are several reasons:
First: Condoleezza Rice is extremely well qualified. She knows foreign policy better than anyone. The Liberal Democrats are going to claim that Mitt Romney does not have any foreign policy experience. Personally I believe Mitt does have a great deal of foreign experience, more than Barack Obama; however that will not prevent the Liberal Democrats from making the statement. I believe it was Hitler who said, “You can convince the people of a big lie easier than a small lie, if you tell it often enough.”
Second: She has already been vetted. No one could fault Condoleezza Rice’s behavior.
Third: Condoleezza Rice knows Washington DC politics.
Fourth: Condoleezza Rice is in the academia world.
Fifth: Condoleezza Rice is a resident of California.
Sixth: Condoleezza Rice is a woman and a minority. I have always considered prejudice of any kind a form of ignorance. However, we must recognize that there is prejudice in this country. We saw that in the last election. I feel that most people who voted for Barack Obama voted for him because of the color of his skin, not because of his qualifications. I believe more people would vote for Condoleezza Rice because she is a woman and a minority than would vote against her for the same reasons.
